mum of three girls, former teacher, and the heart behind Handmade Loop.

My journey began at the kitchen table with a sewing machine, scraps of fabric, and a dream. What started as Lola-Pops, a little handmade clothing business for children, quickly grew into something far bigger than I could ever have imagined. From subscription boxes to bespoke makes, I spent over 10 years pouring love into every piece I created, and it was such a joy to see little ones growing up in outfits I’d made.

But here’s the thing: children don’t stay little for long. Outfits that had been worn for first steps, birthdays, and big adventures were soon being folded away into drawers, too precious to part with but too small to wear.

And it wasn’t just me… mums everywhere were telling me the same story.
That’s when Handmade Loop was born.

Handmade clothing is different. It’s made with love, designed with care, and stitched to last. But too often, these beautiful pieces get tucked away or lost to landfill long before their story is over.
Handmade Loop is changing that. It’s one of the very first pre-loved marketplaces dedicated solely to handmade children’s clothing.
